The Department of Commerce (DOC) International Trade Administration (ITA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) has awarded Electrosoft a $4.5 million Cybersecurity and Risk Management contract. ITA, responsible for promoting U.S. exports in the international marketplace, issued the one-year directed 8(a) award to continue cybersecurity program services the company has been delivering through a five-year prime contract awarded in 2018. Electrosoft has supported Department of Commerce bureaus and their missions since 2001.
“The International Trade Administration is the premier resource for American companies competing in the global marketplace,” said Mike Tillman, COO of Electrosoft. “We are exceptionally pleased to extend our strong partnership to advance ITA’s cyber resilience.”
Under the contract, Electrosoft will build on the operational security services delivered to ITA’s Cybersecurity and Risk Management Division. The company supports ITA’s information security operations center (SOC); Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Assessment and Authorization (A&A); the creation, maintenance and analysis of information system security and privacy documentation; as well as information security training and exercises. Additionally, Electrosoft supports the network operations center (NOC) and management of ITA’s CPIC (Capital Planning and Investment Control) and FITARA (Federal IT Acquisition Reform Act) documentation.
