Electrosoft is pleased to announce that the Department of State has selected the firm to conduct a public key infrastructure (PKI) audit for one its existing PKI implementations. Such a compliance audit verifies that the audited party complies with all the requirements of the current versions of the National Security Systems (NSS) PKI Certificate Policy (CP) and its Certificate Practice Statement (CPS).
PKI relies on digital certificates as a means of providing proof of identity in the online world. PKI also serves another important purpose: securing information exchange over networks. To assure ongoing compliance and integrity, regularly scheduled audits are required. Electrosoft possesses substantial experience in assisting agency compliance with the Federal Triennial Compliance Audit Requirements and performs initial audits, first year audits or triennial audits.
