Electrosoft’s CEO, Dr. Sarbari Gupta, recently presented at the 11 th annual 8.8 Andina Computer Security Conference. She delivered her “Resisting and Recovering from a Ransomware Attack – Are You Ready?” educational session virtually in English to participants in Chile, Peru, Bolivia and numerous other countries within and beyond the region. Conference organizers translated the session for its non-English speaking attendees.
“Making headlines across the U.S. and globally, ransomware attacks are one of the most pressing cybersecurity concerns of our time,” said Gupta. “Commercial and government organizations can (and should) implement a selection of defense mechanisms designed to prevent or contain these malicious attacks and the disruptions they create.”
